Sweet City Fest

Just in time for the season of candy hearts and chocolate boxes, Toronto is getting a month-long festival dedicated to all things sweet.

Skates & Sounds at College Park

On four separate evenings this month, Toronto’s Barbara Ann Scott Ice Trail at College Park will host free skate parties with incredible DJs, fire pits, and fun entertainment.

Grab a pair of free on-site skate rentals and listen to the sounds of upbeat live music while you glide the evening away on Toronto’s downtown ice trail.

AGO Free Wednesday Nights

The Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO) has a longstanding tradition of allowing the public to visit the gallery for free every Wednesday evening.

Free general admission tickets must be booked in advance, online.

If you don’t manage to get one, be on the lookout on Mondays when a limited number of free timed-entry tickets are released for the following Wednesday.

KUUMBA

In celebration of Black History Month, Toronto’s largest Black Futures Month celebration is back this February, with “stimulating and thought-provoking” discussions and performances taking place all month long.

The program features dance, music, workshops, and literary events that highlight contemporary artists and thought leaders from the Afro-diaspora in Canada.

Free hot chocolate and skate rentals at The Bentway

Winter skating under the Gardiner is back for the fifth year in a row!

Until February 20th, skate rentals will available for free every Friday from 5 PM to 9 PM.

On Monday evenings, you can warm up with a cup of free hot chocolate. Free skate lessons for all ages will be offered by registration on Tuesday evenings.

Winterlit

Escape the city and take a dreamy winter stroll under the stars and the glow of twinkling lights and campfires.

This special experience is a great excuse to enjoy the fresh air and nature and snap some adorable photos while you’re at it.

Enjoy the art installations displayed along the trail, live performers, food and beverages, and of course, breathtaking scenery.
