How’s April treating you so far, Seattle? We have a new month ahead of us with plenty to do and see. From live performances to concerts, eats, shopping, and more, the first week of April is off to a hot start. Here are 10 of the best things to do in & around Seattle this week.
It’s been a while since 100 Gecs has been making waves on the music scene, that being said they are coming to town. They have support from Machine Girl who is worth going to see in their own right.

John Mayer is in the rainy city playing all by his lonesome. The soft rock artist will be playing a mix of old hits as well as some new and unheard tunes.

David Lynch’s classic Mulholland Drive returns to theatre at the Beacon this week. You can even go this weekend if you’d rather wait because there are several showtimes.

Chances are after the long winter, your garden is patiently waiting for a little TLC. The time is now to get out there and start getting your seeds and starts organized for a great season of gardening. To make things even better, Seattle and the surrounding area have tons of great gardening stores and we’ve listed them out for you.

One of Seattle’s best museums just so happens to be free! Head to the Frye to see works from American modernist artist Marsden Hartley. His works responded to the “Depression-era cultural and commercial desire for all things homegrown”

The cherry blossoms only bloom once a year! Don’t take them for granted and treat yourself to a little post-work walk among the beautiful blooms. There are trees all across the city and we went ahead and made a list of all the spots worth visiting.
While many people may normally opt to head up to the Skagit Valley on weekends, weekdays are actually a great time as well. Why? You can avoid some of the large crowds that gather during this busy and beautiful time of year.

With spring just around the corner, you might be looking for a new piece or two for your closet. If that’s the case it doesn’t hurt to check out one of Seattle’s many amazing local vintage stores. From sportswear to true vintage pieces, there’s a store out there for you and we made a list of them.
