Happy Thanksgiving weekend, Edmonton! We love a nice long weekend any time, but especially in the fall! DARK: Fort Edmonton Park

On select nights from October 6 to 29, including two this weekend, you’ll be able to face your biggest fears in Edmonton!  Dark at Fort Edmonton Park has new haunting experiences at its event, which is celebrating 6 years of terror. “Survive a horde of undead in a defenceless frontier town. Escape the deranged killer clown whose grand gesture is murder. Dare to discover what nightmares are made during  the witching hour,” states the event. We are scared just reading that.

Cineplex Family Movies

Cineplex has a family movie day this Saturday, and tickets are $2.99. If you’re looking for a family activity, the theatre will be screening Ruby Gillman, Teenage Kraken.

The Original Edmonton Witches Market ~Halloween Edition

Haunted Pumpkin Festival

The Haunted Pumpkin Festival at Prairie Gardens Adventure Farm kicks off on the first weekend of October and is on until the end of the month! You can check out this spooky outing to the pumpkin patch where you will find a Pumpkin Cannon (really!), a ghost town with Ghost Walks to the Elm Street Cemetery, and if you are brave – don a mask to creep through the Haunted Farm House.
