Another weekend has come and gone, but we’ve got another roundup of comedy shows, festivals, and concerts coming in hot. Ready to kick things off? Here are 10 of the very best things to do in Calgary this week.
We’re down to the wire, Calgary! This week let your imagination run wild at, ‘Mirror Mirror,’ which has been extended for a second time. Surrounded by colour and whimsical images, this immersive experience is not one to be missed.

Canada’s Efthimios Nasiopoulos and dynamic storyteller, Chris Griffin will hit Calgary this week for a hilarious show at the Laugh Shop. Because the only thing better than one comedian is two!

You can explore history through an unconventional lens with an inspiring display at the new, temporary exhibition at National Music Centre’s Studio Bell, Violins of Hope. This exhibition features historic string instruments that once belonged to victims and survivors of the Holocaust. Learn about the personal stories behind each restored piece and find inspiration in the power of music to capture resilience, and hope. Tickets are available online with exhibit access included as part of general admission.

A 10-day event, the Big Book Sale will take the Calgary Curling Club and you will not want to miss it. From horror to romance, over 175,000 gently used novels will be available for less than $5.
