Ready or not, this is the last official full weekend of summer. And even if it doesn’t look it outside, we are holding on to that summer feeling! With it being end of summer, there are festivals, but also Oktoberfest kicks off, and the CCMA is in town! Let’s check out 10 things to do in Edmonton this weekend!

The Big Bounce Canada has arrived in Edmonton. Described as “the world’s most extraordinary inflatable theme park,” it combines the largest bouncy castle on the planet with multitudes of activities for all ages. Timed sessions are divided by age groups, with this Friday being an “adult” session suitable for all ages 16 and older.

Canada’s largest Oktoberfest returns to Fan Park @ ICE District from September 12 to 28. Presented by Condor Airlines, the festival offers a 30,000 sq. ft. beer hall, live music, and authentic German cuisine. Guests can enjoy a wide range of beers, live performances from German bands, and family-friendly activities. The event immerses visitors in Bavarian culture, featuring local vendors, games, and specially designed Oktoberfest steins as souvenirs.

It’s time for the CCMA Country Crawl. Experience some of the best talent in Canadian Country music for free at this series, which will be hosted in various venues throughout the city!

If you missed it at the West Edmonton Mall, you have another chance to check out Cirque Italia: Water Circus! This time, in Sherwood Park. This week you can dive into the magical world of Cirque Italia at Sherwood Park mall for the first time EVER!

From September 13th to 15th, Arts on the Ave and Kaleido are presenting Kaleido Family Arts Festival 2024! The theme for this year is Hearts a Meltin. “Celebrate the arts and discover music, theatre, dance, street performances, food, artisans, art galleries, markets, and more in alleys, rooftops, parks and on Alberta Avenue.”

Formerly known as Taste of Asia YEG Night Market, AsiaFest is Edmonton’s largest Asian night market and it’s back for its third year. It promises to be bigger and better than ever. “Over three days, more than 50 vendors will fill Currents Windermere with mouthwatering street food, unique Asian handicrafts, and captivating performance,” it states.
