This weekend in Calgary is packed with events ranging from monster truck jams to farmyard fun. Here are 10 things we recommend you get up to in and around the city to make the most of sweater season.

Cirque du Soleil ECHO

The world-renowned acrobatics group perform at the Big Top for their new show ECHO, with bold visuals, surprising twists, and never-before-seen acrobatic feats.

Harvest Lights at Calgary Farmyard

Brighten up the end of autumn with this celebration of the best of the season at the Calgary Farmyard. The entire farm will be open and lit up with bright lights, plus its legendary corn maze will be open until 9 p.m.

Sunalta Movie in the Park

Midway and a Movie: Zombieland

Chinatown Lantern Festival

Kiitaamoko O’passkaan Powwow

The Kiitaamoko O’passkaan Powwow (anglicized, “Everybody Dance”) is a high-energy community celebration showcasing Indigenous culture through song and dance.

Big Rock Barn Burner

Big Rock Brewery is turning the volume to max with the return of Barn Burner, an all-day live music event with an all-star Canadian lineup.

DandyFest

Washed Ashore: Art to Save the Sea
