These are the most popular baby names in Canada for 2020

Naming your child is the first major decision that a parent can make. And, like anything, certain names seem to rise to the top in terms of popularity.

So, to help you on your next child-naming endeavor, Babycenter has made a list of the top 20 baby names in several countries across the world, including Canada! The list is made up of the top 10 girl names and top 10 boy names and has some interesting insights!

The most popular names in Canada for boys and girls respectively this year are Liam and Olivia. These names, interestingly enough, show up in a lot of the other countries’ top ten. The second-place spot for girls is the name Emma with the second for boys being Jackson.
