The Sundance Film Festival returns to Seattle this month & here’s how to watch

A new month always means tons of new Netflix titles to browse. But why not get a little more shall we say, iconic with your streaming habits? You can do just that thanks to the fact that the 2022 Sundance Film Festival is coming back to Seattle this month with both in-person and online viewings.

Let’s start with the in-person details. The over 4-decade old festival is returning to Seattle this year at the Northwest Film Forum. Attendees will be able to watch 9 films including Sirens, Emergency, La Guerra Civil, Alice, Marte Um, Every Day in Kaimukī, Free Chol Sou Lee, Honk for Jesus. Save Your Soul. and a short film program.

Now here’s the deal, in order to watch all 9 selected films under the pass, in person, you need to have a NWFF membership. So if you’re looking to diversify your movie watching habits this year, a NWFF membership will allow you to buy the in-person Sundance pass and get access to all sorts of amazing films and events throughout the year. But if there’s just one film you have your eye on, you’ll be able to purchase individual tickets starting Thursday, January 6.

If you’re content to watch from home this year, you can also opt for online ticket options directly from Sundance that range in price from $20-$750.
