Does the recent snowfall have you dreaming of the holiday season already? Well then, you absolutely need to check out Luminaria at the U of A Botanic Garden. This annual event is sure to sell out, so now’s the time to buy your tickets!
If the name doesn’t ring a bell, Luminaria transforms the garden into a peaceful and serene winter wonderland. Candlelight and starlight act as your guides here, as you wander around a variety of light displays, sculptures and even live entertainment.

We doubt you’d be huddling up for warmth with strangers on a regular year, so we still think this event will sell out.
And heck, if you’ve got an idea, there’s currently a call for artists that’s on until November 2nd. Who knows- you might just become the shining star of this bright event.
