Fans of Schitt’s Creek will be excited to hear of a new development in the world of the Roses. The now-famous real-life version of the Rosebud Motel is hitting the real estate market soon! The owner of the joint, Jesse Tipping, revealed the news to the Orangeville Banner, saying the spot will be up for sale as early as next month.
This hotspot in Orangeville is the actual shooting location of the motel in the Emmy award-winning series. Since the show blew up, fans from all over have visited the spot for a selfie. While we’re on the subject, you can also visit loads of other Schitt’s Creek shooting locations like Goodwood, Ontario (Café Tropical, Bob’s Garage, and the Rose Apothecary) or Applewood Farm and Winery (Herb Ertlinger Winery) with just a short drive from the city.
It makes for a great afternoon road trip, although you can only visit the exteriors of each location.

Rumours are already swirling as to what the motel will become after it’s sold. If the hilarious fake reviews on Google are any indication, the place would make for a great tourist spot in honour of the TV show.
Imagine stopping by for a stay at the real-life Rosebud Motel, complete with the sign and memorabilia from the show! Hmm, should we put in an offer and make that happen??? As of right now, there’s no word yet on the asking price for the spot. Although it’s not officially on the market yet, we’ll be keeping our eyes peeled for when it is. But regardless who scoops it up, here’s to hoping they turn it into the Schitt’s Creek museum of our dreams. Best wishes and warmest regards!
