We don’t know about you guys but we’ve definitely missed heading to the fair this summer. If you’re also missing it, we have some good news. That is, the PNE is returning later this summer with a smaller and in-person fair. Yes, in person. That feels pretty crazy to say after over a year of virtual and drive-thru experiences.

This announcement comes as BC is entering Step 3 of its COVID-19 restart plan on July 1st. The fair organizers made the decision to reopen after careful consideration and looking at vaccination and case rates. With all that in mind, they’ve put a lot of effort into creating a new and reduced capacity fair for you to enjoy.

You’ll be able to enjoy many of your fair favorites like SuperDogs, animal displays, fair food, The West Coast Lumberjack Show, marketplace, and more. Of course, you’ll also be able to enjoy all those rides as well. We think you’ll love it just as much as fairs past, maybe even more now that you get to enjoy it with fewer people around.

One thing to note about this new fair is that tickets are day-specific and that means you need to think ahead. We recommend buying your tickets ASAP as the fair is sure to sell out. You’ll be able to purchase them starting July 2nd so be sure to mark your calendars. If you’d like to learn more you can click below.
