Saddle up! A new festival ‘with no name’ is bringing a taste of the Old West to Vancouver

Saddle up, Vancouver, because there’s a new summer festival in town this year. Inspired by the Man with No Name and the Fistful of Dollars trilogy, ‘The Fest With No Name’ will not only bring an exciting lineup of country music to the city, but transform the PNE into an immersive Western cultural experience.

Update: The festival has been cancelled.

If you’ve ever wondered what it’d be like to step inside an old Western film, now’s your chance!

Visitors will get the chance to roam a ‘repurposed old west’ from a locally shot film set, complete with a tin-type photo booth and vintage market with all the cowboy accessories you could possibly need. There will also be a VIP Saloon, mechanical bull rides, drag performances, and delicious BBQ and food vendors to indulge in.

In terms of music, headliners include country artists Midland and Shane Smith & The Saints – who will be making their Western Canadian debut!

Other Vancouver debut performances include Pony Bradshaw, Summer Dean, and Jaime Wyatt, who will perform alongside returning ‘Highway Queen’ Nikki Lane, among a handful lof other Canadian artists.

Stay tuned for the addition of even more performing artists for the festival’s pre-party and after-parties taking place over the weekend!
