Eat boozy bubbles & dissect real hearts during this 18+ Valentine’s event in Calgary

Some say that love is just a chemical reaction, so what better way to celebrate the most romantic day of the year than with a trip to the science centre? This week, whether you’re kicking it with that special someone, or your BFF check out Telus Spark for their Valentine’s adult night, an enlightening evening of knowledge, food and booze.

From unique sips to unusual activities, this Thursday’s event will be one for the scrapbooks.

Open exclusively to an 18+ crowd, the science centre has curated a four-course meal and four exhibit galleries where love birds will be challenged to take up experiments and explore the human body, more specifically the heart – and we mean that quite literally.

Under the supervision of a professional, guests will be able to dissect a real sheep’s heart in hopes of helping them to understand how incredible the organ really is.

Of course, if this isn’t what you’d consider romance you’ll also be able to split a heart-shaped pizza, catch a show in their infinity dome, chat with a love doctor and grab some astronaut ice cream.

In addition to this, you’ll be able to visit Bunsen and Beaker, the adorable Twitter famous science dogs and sip their funky themed cocktail, the Blue(berry) ball, which is served with an edible bubble of fruit-flavoured vapour.

Interested? Tickets are on sale now, but are going quickly – so act fast! There’s nothing else like it.
