The Great Outdoors Comedy Festival returns to Calgary this weekend, but this year, there’s a whole new pregame spot with free admission.
Taste of Calgary and the Great Outdoors Comedy Festival are teaming up to bring Taste of Comedy to Eau Claire Plaza all weekend long.
From Friday, Aug. 28 to Sunday, Aug. 30, those attending the Great Outdoors Comedy Festival, or even those who aren’t, will be able to grab a bite from a selection of local restaurants and food vendors in the plaza.
Those visiting the Taste of Comedy site will also be able to buy and drink alcohol, making it the ultimate festival pregame spot or even somewhere to hang out once the shows are over.
Alongside sips and snacks, the comedy festival will have plenty of live entertainment such as street performers, comedians, and more.
So if you’re festival-bound or simply want another quick food festival visit before the summer is out, this will be the place to be.
