All the summer spots you can catch free outdoor movies in Toronto

Free outdoor movie screenings are coming back to Toronto parks as early as next month, giving you the perfect way to spend a cozy, chill night while still making the most of the warm weather.

As Toronto gears up to celebrate the unofficial start of summer this weekend, all of the city’s favourite ways to spend a steamy summer night are top of mind, and for many, that means getting excited for the return of free outdoor movie screenings at a slew of local parks and public spaces.

From consummate leaders in free outdoor movie nights, like the Toronto Outdoor Picture Show and the Regent Park Film Festival’s movies under the stars, to smaller-scale community operations like Sorauren Park’s movie nights, this summer holds a bounty of opportunity for you to snuggle up with your favourite movie — no streaming service subscription required.
