Lift off: New immersive exhibit in Metro Vancouver is all about space

You don’t need to sell us on a weekend trip to the mall, but this option might make it even better! The new ‘Stargazer’ immersive exhibit has landed at Tsawwassen Mills, and brought some out-of-this-world sights with it. Here’s what to know before you go.

The new exhibit is curated by the H.R. MacMillan Space Centre in Vancouver, and was created by Fever and SENSEA (the people behind the Da Vinci Experience earlier this year). Intended to take about an hour, the exhibit showcases both real-world technology as well as scale replicas of some extremely impressive space age developments.

Of course, the major selling point here is the immersive projection. Visitors will be able to step into a 270° space featuring both wall and floor projections. And during the show, they’ll be treated to a stunning look at deep space, with incredible colours and scale on display. It sounds like a 2001-esque moment, and we’re curious to check it out.

If you’re in the same boat (or rocket), then blast off to the new Stargazer immersive exhibit in Metro Vancouver! It officially opened today, and will be available to check out all summer long.
