There’s a casting call in Toronto for a Starbucks commercial

Calling all coffee lovers! If you can’t live without your daily Starbucks then this is the job for you. Groundglass casting is looking for Torontonians to feature in a new Starbucks commercial and we have all the information on how to apply.

According to Groundglass casting, they’re looking for individuals that love Starbucks cold coffees, ages 25-40 and their parent or grand parent.

“Do you love a nice Frappuccino or iced latte? Are you close with your parent/grandparent? If so, we want to hear from you,” says Groundglass.

“No acting experience is required, however, you should be outgoing and comfortable being filmed and interviewed.”

Here’s what to know before applying:

  • MUST be legally eligible to work in Canada.
  • To participate, ALL applicants MUST be local to the Greater Toronto Area.
  • To participate, you MUST be able to film in Toronto.
  • If shortlisted, you MUST be available for a brief online interview with the director on June 13th.
  • If selected, you MUST be available for a wardrobe appointment on June 25th or 26th. You will only be required briefly (about 2 hours)
  • If selected, you MUST be available for filming on June 27th. You will only be required for one day of filming.
  • f booked, you will each receive $75 for a wardrobe appointment, and $600 for one day of filming. If your footage is in the final commercial, you will receive up to an additional $4000 for its use.

A short two-three minute video about yourself will need to be included as well.
