Shania Twain & Our Lady Peace to headline FREE Stanley Cup concert in Edmonton

The 7-game Stanley Cup Finals are officially underway and while the Edmonton Oilers are behind the Florida Panthers 2 – 0, the city has won big!

This week, The National Hockey League and Rogers will kick off the Rogers Festival, a concert series held in celebration of the biggest games of the season and the headliners are major.

“This is an exciting time for hockey fans across Canada,” said Terrie Tweddle, Chief Brand and Communications Officer at Rogers.

“We’re thrilled to celebrate Canada’s game with customer contests, concerts, and unique experiences for our customers and hockey fans.”

So, who will take the stage?

This Thursday, June 13th, four-time JUNO Award-winning rock band, Our Lady Peace, will rock hockey fans outside Rogers Place.

Then, on Saturday, five-time GRAMMY winner, Shania Twain, will close out the event – but it gets better!

The 2024 Rogers Festival is FREE to attend and no tickets will be required.

If you’re interested, both performances will begin at 4 pm MT in Scotiabank Fan Park before the 6 pm MT game times, but if you can’t make it, portions of the festival will be featured on Sportsnet, Sportsnet+, TVA Sports and CBC.

Either way, games three and four are going to be the ones to watch.

Here’s hoping the Edmonton Oilers can bring the cup home.
