This hidden white sand beach in Ontario faces a tiny beautiful island

Ontario has many white sand beaches, and in the summertime, they tend to get pretty busy. If you’re looking for something a little more secluded, then you’ll want to pay a visit to Spruce Beach.

Located in the charming town of Elliot Lake, Spruce Beach is more tucked away and off-beat than the typical hot-spots.

However, it is just as beautiful, if not moreso, thanks to its tranquil waters and scenic views.

Spruce Beach faces the charming Sylvah Island, a small forested island just one kilometre from the shore.

This beach also has a famous rock that protrudes from the water, which visitors love to climb and jump from, says Destination Ontario.

Spruce Beach has received Blue Fag status for meeting exceptional standards of water quality this season.

The sandy shoreline is not as expansive as Sauble Beach or Wasaga, but there is plenty of room for beach volleyball games and sand castles.

There are many stunning provincial parks in the area too, including Matinenda and Little White River Provincial Park.
