Blue Jays to the Leafs: These sports organizations in Toronto are hiring

Attending a sporting event is one of the best ways to spend your spring and summer! If being at the ballpark, stadium or field brings you joy then why not make some money while you’re there?

The Toronto Blue Jays, Toronto FC, Toronto Raptors and Toronto Maple Leafs have some roles available as the Jays gear up for their regular season and the other seasons already underway. These are the sports organizations hiring in Toronto right now.

The Blue Jays’ home opener is on April 8th and there’s still a chance to get hired to work the games.

The Jays currently have nine roles open right now and are as follows:

  • Mobile Team Representative – Part-time
  • Ticket Operations Representative – Part-time
  • Facility Services Attendant – Part-time
  • Facility Services Head Supervisor – Part-time
  • Facility Services Team Leader – Part-time
  • Maintenance Labourer (12 Month Contract) – Contractor
  • Sr. Building Operator – Full-time
  • Fan Services Representative – Part-time
  • Warehouse Team Lead – Part-time

Employees can enjoy some perks as well including employee events, concession perks, merchandise discounts, and Blue Jays ticket discounts.

While the Raptors and Leafs seasons are well on their way, Toronto FC’s first home game was on March 9th. MLSE, the organization that owns these teams is also hiring meaning theres a chance to work for any of them. Here are the roles:

  • Event Security Coordinator – All MLSE venues
  • Paid Seller, MLSE Foundation 5050 Program – All MLSE venues
  • Facility Maintenance and Conversion – All MLSE venues
  • Foreman, Field Maintenance – BMO Field
  • Labourer, Field Maintenance – BMO Field
  • Coordinator, Ticket Administration & Reporting – for all teams
  • Lead Cook – Scotiabank Arena
  • Supervisor, Facility Maintenance and Conversion Worker – Scotiabank Arena
