This “spooktacular” light show near TO makes a grand return with double the dazzle

Halloween is not all about getting a fright out of yourself at haunted houses. There are other, less scary but equally awesome ways to get the spooky vibe going. And Spooktacular Light Show 2022 might just do the trick.

Yes, the delightfully entertaining drive-through light show is back this year. If you remember the light show dazzled us with a set-up of over 1 million lights last year. And this year they’ve doubled up on the brilliance with 2 million lights. That’s twice the shimmer and twice the fun!

The show has been set up over a two-kilometre stretch. This features glowing ghosts and ghouls, a lit-up pumpkin tunnel and a (less) haunted house, and several 2D and 3D illuminations. And of course, some seriously spooky tunes to go with lights that will sing and dance for you.

The immersive light show will take place in two different locations in the GTA— Meadowvale GO in Mississauga and Richmond Hill GO.

The Spooktacular Light Show will run from October 23rd to Monday, October 31st, 2022. And tickets are currently on sale. It’s one ticket per car (up to 8 passengers). Meaning, that the whole fam, even the furry fam, can enjoy the show.
