Sooke might be known for its scenic natural rock pools, summer swimming opportunities, and gold-rush era history, but the small town on Vancouver Island also happens to be a prime spot for a winter getaway. So if you have a weekend that’s wide open and you want to get out of the city for a bit, consider hopping on a ferry and staying at one of these cozy rustic cabins in Sooke.
Equipped with ocean views and hot tubs, the majority of these stays will have you wanting to permanently relocate to the charming southern coast of the Island. In the winter, visitors can enjoy hiking opportunities, wildlife and storm-watching, and visit the Sooke Regional Museum.
