Sneaker Con is coming back to Vancouver next month

Need some drip for the spring? Down to be absolutely goated with the sauce at your job? Sneaker Con, easily the most famous footwear and apparel convention of its kind, is returning to Vancouver this March! For one day only, you’ll be able to check out some of the craziest, and most expensive, products in the resale market right now. Ready to “kick it” and learn some more?

On Saturday, March 5th, Sneaker Con will be setting up shop at the Vancouver Convention Centre. Originally founded in New York over a decade ago, Sneaker Con has expanded into cities across North America. However, it’s only been a recent addition to Vancouver, with its first instalment happening back in 2019.

The premise is simple- for an entire afternoon, Vancouver’s biggest resellers, collectors, and enthusiasts will converge for a day of buying, selling, and trading. There’s no guarantees about what will go up for sale, but it’s not a stretch to assume that the range will include new and noteworthy collaborations, limited releases, and rare vintage pieces from years gone by. In a nutshell, everything you could ask for if you’re into the streetwear and sneaker scenes.

What’s more, Sneaker Con is promising that live auctions and giveaways will be happening throughout the day. Which, given the resale prices of sneakers these days, might be more up our alley. It certainly makes the cost of admission easier to swallow.
