Shawn Mendes reveals upcoming shows and one is in Vancouver

Canadian superstar Shawn Mendes is heading back out on the road for a new European and North American tour, and he’s bringing the party to Vancouver.

The eight-time Juno Award winner announced the exciting news to his fans on social media, with his Rogers Arena concert scheduled on Sunday, October 12.

Mendes’ latest North American tour comes just months after his fifth studio album, Shawn, was released. Vancouver is one of three Canadian dates announced so far, and tickets go on sale online starting on Friday, June 6, at 10 a.m.

“I feel like time away has allowed me to come back and recognize and remember how unbelievably special it is to get to play live shows,” said Mendes on X. “It’s an honour and I’m just beyond grateful that you guys keep showing up after 10 years with so much love.”

Mendes has three Grammy nominations under his belt, as well as won 13 SOCAN awards and 10 MTV Europe Music Awards. In 2018, he was named one of Time‘s 100 most influential people in the world and also provided the singing voice of the title character in the film Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile.

The “Stitches” and “Monster” singer has sold over 20 million albums worldwide and boasts over 44.3 million monthly listeners on Spotify.

Australian singer-songwriter Eddie Benjamin will also join Mendes at Rogers Arena this October.
