Love live music & need a job this summer? The Shambhala Music Festival is currently hiring a handful of showtime positions, which come with free entry to the 2023 festival in Salmo, BC. So if you’re looking for a sweet summer gig that gets you into the best music fest in North America for free, now is your chance.
In addition to their volunteer crew positions, which offer a bit more flexibility in time commitment, Shambhala is recruiting paid staff members who are up for working every day of the festival, from July 21st to July 24th.
Here are just some of the areas showtime staff members will work in:
In addition to free early entry, staff members get exclusive SMF swag, access to Crew Camping spots, and a minimum of one meal per shift. Note that each shift is 8 to 12 hours daily, or nightly. And with world-class headliners like John Summit, Griz, Goldie, and Black Tiger Sex Machine on the roster, we’re sure the time will fly by.
Note that these positions are best suited for people who enjoy festivals of this calibre and size, and enjoy the satisfaction of watching one come together. And since tickets are well over $500 each, this is the perfect opportunity for electronic music lovers to gain access without shelling out the dough.
Finally, if you’re interested in something a bit more long-term, consider applying for their HR Assistant & Supervisor role.
And that’s a wrap on Shambhala hiring info for now, Vancouver. Best of luck!
