‘Sex and the City’ author Candace Bushnell is touring & coming to Ontario

If “Sex and the City” had a hand in shaping your personality as it did for me, then this this going to be big news.

Candace Bushnell, the author of the “Sex and the City” novels (which were eventually turned into multiple series, movies and spinoffs) is touring and will be making a handful of stops in Ontario.

Here are all the details.

According to Candace Bushnell’s website, the one-woman show will be called “True Tales of Sex, Success, and Sex and the City.”

The show will feature the international best-selling novelist and creator of “Sex in the City” as she takes the audience on a “whirlwind tour of New York City, from Studio 54 to the Lipstick Jungle and beyond, sharing her remarkable stories of fashion, literature and sex while pouring cosmos in Manolos!”

Known as the “real-life Carrie Bradshaw,” those who attend can also expect to hear the story of when Bushnell met her Mr. Big only for him to dump her just as she published the “Sex and the City” book in 1996.

If you’re living in Ontario, here are the tour dates to mark down.

  • April 4th, 2024 at 8:00 PM: Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts, Richmond Hill, ON
  • April 5th, 2024 at 8:00 PM: The Burlington Performing Arts Centre (BPAC), Burlington, ON
  • April 6th, 2024 at 8:00 PM: Centre In The Square, Kitchener, ON

Each venue sells its own tickets with Richmond Hill tickets found here, Burlington here and Kitchener here.

Tickets in Richmond Hill start at $60, tickets in Burlington start at $79.50 and tickets in Kitchener start at $34.50.
