It’s Thursday, can you hear the weekend calling your name? Or maybe you stopped counting the days of the week long ago. Whatever your case may be, here are 8 things to do this weekend in and around Seattle. It’s gonna be a great one, we can feel it!
We know we know, this isn’t Seattle. However, we couldn’t not include an event with monster trucks! Anyways, Monster Jam is probably the best thing to happen to the US since cowboys. Fight us on that.

Not getting enough vitamin D can do some real damage to ya. It might even turn you into a serial killer. This 90-minute tour covers some of Seattle’s most notorious homicide cases. Fair warning, this tour is not for the faint of heart. Sorry, lots of creepy things going on this weekend.

Okay, this one is a little out of the way, but when else will you get to tour a Bonsai museum? Probably never. If you can’t make it this weekend, the Pacific Bonsai Museum does these free tours every Sunday!

Fay Jones art will make you feel like you’re in a dream like state, and you may recognize her work from Westlake Station. She also just so happens to be local. Trust us, this show isn’t to be missed!

This is a unique gallery featuring works from artists of color. Expect to see works from talents like Amir George, narrative painter Ronald Hall, Afrocentric sculptor Shurvon Haynes, and Jaleesa Johnston.

It’s not exactly this weekend, in fact it’s tonight. But when else are you going to be able to watch Chicano rock legends Los Lobos? Tickets are selling out quick. Good thing you’re reading this now!
