8 things to do in Seattle this week (September 14-18)

It’s a new week and that means there are lots of things to be done! So if you’re looking to have some fun this week then be sure to keep on reading. Now, we typically would warn you about going out and about because of COVID, but this time we have to mention that the West Coast wildfires have led to us having less-than-safe air quality. So, if you are going out, throw that mask on, but also don’t spend much time outdoors if you don’t have to. Let’s stay safe out there, Seattle!

Here are 8 things to do in and around Seattle this week.

Check out the Museum of Flight

This place isn’t just for kids. In fact, we find it even more enjoyable now that we’re all grown up. So if you want to get up close and personal with some super cool planes then be sure to head over. Because they’re now open!

See the Kraken at the Aquarium

The Seattle Aquarium just got a brand new giant pacific octopus that has been appropriately named Kraken. So if you’re getting pumped about our new hockey team and want to see this new guy you can head down to the Aquarium.

Enjoy a spa day

If you didn’t treat yourself this past weekend consider doing it this week with a spa day. After all, Seattle has a ton of amazing spas. So whether you need a massage, scrub or whatever else be sure to check out our recent guide.

Snag some free fruit

City Fruit is back with its fruit for all programs. And that means you can score free fruit on select days throughout September. So be sure to check the calendar to see if you can make it to one of these tasty events. Because this probably one of the tastiest things you can do in Seattle this September.

Enjoy Washington Cider Week

This celebration of falls best-fermented apple beverage is on! And trust us, you don’t want to miss it. Because you can make your own tasting tour or join in on some of the official festival events. Either way, it’s going to be a lot of fun.

We’re big fans of Capitol Hills Chophouse Row and this week you can enjoy live music while you shop or dine. So if you plan on visiting one of the row’s shops or restaurants be sure to do it on Thursday or throughout the weekend to hear some tunes.
