What’s up, Seattle? We hope that your weekend was everything you wanted it to be and more. It’s time to get back to the grind, though, so that means we’ve got some ideas and events to check out to help spice up your Monday to Friday. With all of that in mind, here are 8 of the best things to do in Seattle this week!

Cleveland Seattle Series

Cheer on the Mariners and see if they can stay on this hot streak while they take on the Cleveland Indians. Two home games this week, so head down to T-Mobile Park for some beers, burgers n’ baseball.

Where: T Mobile Park
Cost: $17 +

Old School Hip Hop

Bop out to some tunes from the Golden Age of rap with OG duo Eric B. & Rakim. Listen to their funky tunes and vibe out to some old school hip hop.

When: Tuesday, April 16 at 9 PM
Where: The Showbox, 1426 1st Ave

Mr Eazi

If you’re looking for something different to add to your music collection, check out Nigerian singer-songwriter Mr Eazi this week. Catch his show and beat the mid-week slump by jamming out to his fusion sound.

Where: The Showbox, 1426 1st Ave

Sax It Up With Kenny G

You might not be able to have him come to your house and play for you personally while surrounded by roses (shoutout to Kanye for a truly extra V-day gift), but hey! At least you can catch him IRL Thursday through Sunday for an evening of Grammy-winning jazz tunes.

When: Thursday, April 18 – Sunday, April 21 at 7:30 pm & 9:30 pm
Where: Dimitriou’s Jazz Alley
Cost: $66.50 + fees

A Night of Epic Roasting

Back by popular demand, Socially Inept: Tech Comedy Roast is back for another year! Watch four local comedians light up the tech scene, and even go at it on some techie volunteers right from the audience.

When: Thursday, April 18 at 8 PM
Where: Laughs Comedy Club, 5220 Roosevelt Way
Cost: $19-$26

Chelsea Peretti and Friends

We all know Gina was your low-key (or high-key?) fave on Brooklyn Nine-Nine, so seeing her live is just a night of belly-laughs waiting to happen.

When: Thursday, April 18 at 8 PM
Where: The Showbox, 1426 1st Ave
Cost: $35

Maggie Rogers

This Indie star has been making serious waves for a couple of years (ever since impressing the hell out of Pharell while she was still in Uni) and is one of music’s brightest youngsters.

When: Tuesday, April 16 @ 8 PM
Where: Showbox SoDo, 1700 1st Ave S
Cost: $30-35

Seattle Restaurant Week

Well, it’s already started, but you definitely don’t want to miss the first weekend! Over 165 restaurants around town will be taking part in this prix fixe lunch and dinner series. Lunches will be dishing out two-course specials for $18, and dinners will be three-course $33 deals. It’s a pretty, pretty, pretty tasty thing to do in Seattle this weekend!

When: Until Thursday, April 18
