Welcome to the first full weekend of April! There’s a lot going on this weekend whether you’re celebrating Easter or not. So we hope that you all take the time to safely get out of the house and have some fun. Here are 10 socially distant things to do in Seattle this weekend.

Seattle restaurant week is actually a whole entire month which makes it that much better. You can grab meals from so many Seattle restaurants starting as low as $20. It’s an excellent opportunity to eat at places that otherwise might not. Be sure to check out the list of who’s participating!

Enjoy re-broadcasts of Seattle Symphony concerts
Sometimes we all get sick of the lo-fi hip hop beats playlist for our daily work-from-home grind. And that’s okay because Seattle Symphony re-broadcasts their amazing concerts for free. You can Shostakovich & Haydn in April and Mendelssohn Violin Concerto in May.

French Macaron
Learning to make new food is always fun, especially when it’s something as unique as a macaron. So if you’ve been wanting to learn how to make pastries, this is a great place to start. Plus the class is in person and is COVID-19 safe thanks to mask-wearing, sanitizing, and social distancing.

View a tour of the night sky
If you often find yourself pondering the night sky and solar system then you’ll probably enjoy this tour. It’s a free online Zoom presentation from Pacific Planetarium. You’ll get to fly around the night sky and you’ll get to learn all about the stars and planets.

Visit the Museum of Museums
One of Seattle’s newest and also coolest museums just reopened. And right now they have some pretty cool shows on from local contemporary artists. So if you’re looking for a switch up from your regular museum trips definitely check out MoM.

Wad
This online play from Act Theatre delves into the story of a true-crime obsessed high schooler. And things get a little more interesting as the main character exchanges letters with a man on death row. It’s a unique story and we think you’ll enjoy it.

Look for cherry blossoms
The time is getting near for cherry blossoms to start popping up across the city. And luckily, most neighborhoods have a few trees. But if you want to see concentrated blooms you can check out the list of spots we made. Plus some of them you can even view from home!

Secret Admirer
This unique interactive play is one that you can enjoy from the comfort of your own home. And it’s premise revolves around friends reuniting digitally after 15 years through their favorite board game. So you can see how this whole story unfolds and also play along with the game.
