Well, Seattle, it’s been a busy year. And sometimes we forget we’re in the middle of a pandemic. But in fact, we are and our numbers still aren’t great. So because of that Washington will be facing new mandates. Starting on Friday, June 26 all Washingtonians will be required to wear a face-covering when leaving the house.

And yes, that means you! Because we don’t know about you guys but we’ve seen a lot of people walking around the city without masks. And at this point, wearing a mask is kind of just common courtesy. Obviously, if you have a health condition that prevents you from wearing one, that’s a different story.

And while we know a lot of people are still against masks, as Washington has started to reopen our cases are increasing. So that means we all need to be aware and protect each other. And if wearing a face covering is the best thing to do, then so be it. If you’d like to learn more, you can click here.
