Well folks if you need some good news to start your week, let this be it. Because a new study ranks Washington as the best state for teachers in the nation. Yes, for once we’re not getting wrecked in a study, woohoo!
The study by WalletHub ranks teachers in all 50 states with 25 different criteria. And found that Washington simply has the best of the best. So while we’re always thankful for our teachers, now is a great time to show them some extra love. Because at least one of them in your life has probably made a big impact on you.

And if you’re curious, some of the criteria include pupil-teacher ratio, quality of school systems, and average teacher salaries. Not to mention, Washington ranks highest for its 10-year increase in average teacher salaries. So let’s keep that up because we all know teachers don’t get paid enough.
