Well, folks, the day we’ve all been waiting for is here. Washington has officially reached Phase 3 of its Healthy Washington – Roadmap to Recovery plan. And that means a lot of things are changing. So keep on reading to find out exactly what that means for you.

To start, capacity is doubling for indoor activities. So that means, restaurants, bars, gyms, and movie theatres with a max capacity of 400. Plus restaurants can now serve alcohol until midnight! And limited spectators can return to sporting events and indoor and outdoor events may resume. However, these events are also max 50% capacity or 400 people.

With Phase 3 also comes the move to evaluation by county instead of by region. And that means evaluations will happen every 3 weeks with the first happening on April 12th. Not to mention, Washington will review capacity caps in mid-April and right even allow more people. So keep up the good work and we might just have a somewhat normal summer.

Of course, all of these new allowances will only stay in place if people continue to social distance, wear masks and take other precautions. So it’s worth mentioning that the state will pull back on these measures if case numbers and hospitalizations increase to a critical number. With that, we hope this news helps start your week on a high note!
