Are you feeling antsy at home? Well, soon you’ll be able to enjoy some of Seattle’s most beloved museums again! That’s right museums are reopening soon so be sure to plan ahead if you plan on visiting. The best part is that some are already open!

If you’re unfamiliar with Washington’s new reopening system, the whole state is now in Phase 2. So basically that means things are starting to get back to relative normality. More importantly, that means that you can expect most places like museums to operate at 25% capacity and with timed tickets.

So here’s the part you’ve been waiting for! Right now MoPOP, The Burke Museum, Seattle Aquarium, KidsQuest Children’s Museum, and Bellevue Art Museum are all open. The National Nordic Museum will reopen on February 18th, The Museum of Flight will reopen on March 4th and The Seattle art Museum will reopen on March 5th.

So there you have it, folks, there’s plenty of museums to check out this week. And for the museums yet to open you can purchase tickets ahead of time. As always be sure to check each museum’s website before going for hours, tickets, and COVID policies.
