Well, folks, Seattle is in the news once again. Not surprising right? But this time it’s for something not quite so positive. In fact, Seattle has been ranked by Redfin as one of the top 10 places in the nation for outflow. That means people are leaving Seattle in droves.

But hey, it makes sense. After all, this city is expensive, and with WFH becoming the new normal, why would you stay here when you could be literally anywhere else. Clearly, lots of people are picking up on this as Seattle is now 6th in the nation for outflow. And if you’re wondering where most people are heading to from Seattle, the answer is LA. Not exactly logical if you’re going for affordability.

But hey, it’s no secret we’re all vitamin D deficient so we understand the appeal. As for other cities on the outflow list, New York comes in first place and is followed by San Francisco and LA. Once again, no surprises here, these are literally the most expensive places in the country. However, cities like Phoenix, Sacramento, and Las Vegas are now experiencing massive inflows.

But hey, take this data with a grain of salt. Life changes and there are ups and downs, obviously, no one could have predicted the impacts of the pandemic.
