If you haven’t heard about Climate Pledge Arena for a while, don’t worry. Because it turns out there’s actually a lot happening that you’ll want to hear about. Just a few of the recent arena updates include the return of an iconic restaurant and also some amazing art.

What’s new at Climate Pledge Arena

We’ll get started with the art because it’s just as state of the art as the new arena. A diverse group of Pacific Northwest artists has been commissioned to create interactive works that visitors of the venue can enjoy. And many of these works are both beautiful and functional. So we highly recommend that you check them out here.

Now when it comes to the restaurant bit, it turns out that the former owner of FX McRory’s is bringing it back to the fans. The new restaurant will not be the exact same obviously but will have the same spirit as the iconic OG. So you can welcome the “Kraken Bar and Grill” to your rotation of local sports bars.

Some of the unique aspects of the restaurant include the fact that it overlooks the team’s two main rinks. And also that it’s being decorated with retro hockey gear from Ebbets Field Flannels. Plus it should be open by Labor Day which isn’t that far away when you think about it.

The new restaurant will be located at Northgate. So if you’re a North Seattle fan, you don’t have to worry about heading all the way down towards the stadiums. And we have to say that all of this news is pretty dang exciting. We hope that you’re all getting excited about our new team and Climate Pledge Arena. Have a great weekend!
