We don’t know about you guys but we’re pretty big fans of the WFH lifestyle. And admittedly we thought it’d be here to stay for a long time, maybe even years. But it seems that Amazon has other plans for its employees as they’re building a new skyscraper right in the Seattle area.
Now in pre-pandemic times, this would have been no biggie. After all, the online giant has already taken over pretty much all of South Lake Union. But with the future of the traditional workspace up in the air, the corporation is making a mark with a new 31-story tower at its Bellevue campus. And while this tower might seem big it’s actually joining a second 43 story tower that is already under construction.

We’re not going to lie, the idea of seeing skyscrapers full of employees still feels far off. You never know though, especially when it comes to Amazon. And it’s worth mentioning that this new campus is 3.5 acres and will also have businesses and residential units. So it might end up being a WFH situation after all.
