Polar Plunge Challenge
Before the end of the week, you have one last chance to participate in the Polar Plunge Challenge which is the biggest fundraising event of the year for Special Olympics Washington. Taste Washington
Washington’s premier food and drink event is happening right now, so don’t miss out especially since you can enjoy it all from home! You can either cook along thanks to recipes from Whole Foods or enjoy take-out from participating restaurants. Plus, make sure you’ve got wine at the ready.

Ann Gardner: Variations on Light and Color
In case you didn’t know, the PNW has a whole host of prominent glass artists. And this show from artist Ann Gardner is all about exploring the medium of glass. She’s been at it for decades and has won multiple awards from museums near and far. So if you’re into glass or art or pretty much anything cool, you don’t want to miss this.

This might seem like a no-brainer but winter produce is only here for so long. So be sure to enjoy it while you can! What’s cool about the farmer’s markets is that you get delicious produce and more while supporting local farmers and artisans. Plus pretty much every neighborhood has one.

Field to Table
If you’re looking for a unique dining experience this month then we have to recommend Field to Table. Why? Because it allows you to enjoy food from local chefs while safely dining on Lumen Field. Sounds pretty cool right? Well, if you haven’t got tickets yet you may be out of luck, but we’re keeping our fingers crossed this one gets an extension.

Puffy Jacket Pop Up Dining Series
Missed out on Lumen Field? No worries! If you’re down to dine in again then you don’t want to miss out on this limited-time pop-up. The puffy Jacket Pop-Up is taking place at 12 different restaurants across the PNW and each spot has its own unique pop-up menu. So that means you can actually road trip to check out all that Columbia Hospitality has to offer.

Franklin Falls
There’s a reason why this hike is so popular, and that’s simply because it’s so damn beautiful. And that applies year-round. So if you’ve never seen a frozen waterfall we highly recommend checking out this hike, but we can’t guarantee that the falls are still frozen or if they are, that they will be for much longer. Either way, Franklin Falls is a stunner worth the trek.

Check out some night skiing
In case you didn’t know, Washington is home to the largest night skiing area in America. So if skiing is your thing but you haven’t tried it at night, now is the time. And who knows how long this year’s skiing season will last so be sure to get on it!

Head to Gasworks
Sure you can check out Gasworks any time of year but it’s always nice to see the city skyline in all of the different seasons. So if you haven’t taken the time recently to take a stroll through this iconic park, be sure to do so. After all, it has one of the best views in the city.
