Now that fall is here you might be feeling a little antsy to get out there and experience it. And we always think taking a weekend trip is a great way to watch the state’s colors change. After all, there isn’t a prettier, cozier, or spookier season, which means it’s the perfect time to do some exploring. Goldmyer Hot Springs

If you want some waterfront views along with your fall vibes then we recommend heading to Edison. This little town is home to some amazing artists and restaurants. So we think it’s a great place to spend a fall weekend while relaxing and treating yourself.

If you’re in the mood to head a bit further north you can always head to the town of Anacortes. This town is the access point to many of our state’s islands and overlooks Padilla Bay as well as Rosario Strait. So for some quaint waterfront vibes, you can’t go wrong with Anacortes.

Doe Bay Resort

And if you feel like actually escaping to the Islands, you can always head to Doe Bay Resort on Orcas Island. Because this beautiful and relaxing spot doubles as a resort and spa and you can’t go wrong with that. Not to mention, we always love a good ferry ride.
