Quite literally a hole in the wall spot, The Pink Door has been a Seattle staple for over three decades. If you’ve not had a chance to check out this local gem, then here are a few reasons to do so.

First and foremost, their menu is delicious- unpretentious Italian-American food done well and at a reasonable price. While their lasagna is arguably the best choice, you’ll probably be craving a bit more. So, grab the arancini as a starter or the meatballs as a side. If you’re really hungry, try their cioppino dish with clams, mussels, prawns and calamari.

But as an added bonus, the Pink Door has nightly entertainment. To start, they host great jazz shows Tuesday through Friday. Alternatively, you can opt for something a little more risqué.

On Saturdays, they have one of the best burlesque shows in the city. Meanwhile, Sundays and Mondays are reserved for ‘aerialist’ performances. For these events, get a reservation and make sure you remember their dress code.

It’s clear that The Pink Door offers an equally delicious and interesting dining experience. Duck into it the next time you decide to eat out.
