Seattle just got a brand-new mouthwatering Japanese spot

Broadway is pretty crazy when it comes to the restaurant scene. It seems like businesses open and close weekly and the shops that remain are interesting, to say the least! With all that in mind, we’re happy to announce that Rondo, a new Izakaya from the creators of Tamari Bar and Suika, is now open on Broadway. We’re hoping this one sticks around!

The name Rondo is inspired by a Japanese folklore story of a young fisherman who is whisked away to an underwater Dragon Palace. Along that theme, you can expect to see some dragon-themed decor.

The venue has 50 seats waiting for folks looking for lunch and early dinner. Menu items include noodle dishes, teishoku, donburi, and lots of snacks. Some of the available beverages include sake, chūhai and Asahi beer. Rondo will also be serving drinks made with a Suntory Whisky Toki Highball machine. This is pretty cool because there are only a few of these machines in the US.

If you’ve been looking for a new restaurant to try, Rondo should be your #1 pick. With sister restaurants like Tamari Bar and Suika, you know it will be amazing.

Maybe the Broadway curse won’t touch this one? Only time will tell, we guess.

Go treat yourself to a dinner out, and let us know what you think of the place. Happy Eating!
