8 things to do this weekend in Seattle (July 12-14)

Via WSJunction

Hey there friends, good to see ya! We’ve got a weekend absolutely packed with awesome events, festivals, and things to do in Seattle. After all, isn’t that what weekends are for? We sure think so. That’s why we’ve gathered 8 of the very best things to do in and around Seattle this weekend for you to check out. Enjoy!

West Seattle Summer Fest

Family-friendly activities, free live music, plenty of shopping, a beer garden, kids area- should we keep going? Let’s just say there’s plenty to do and see at this 3-day festival.

When: Friday, July 12 – Sunday, July 14; Friday & Saturday, 10 am – 6 pm; Sunday, 10 am – 5 pm
Where: West Seattle Junction Association, 4210 SW Oregon St
Cost: Free Admission

Queen & Adam Lambert

Adam Lambert does Freddy Mercury as much justice as anyone can, so despite it not being quite the real thing, this concert is still going to be a banger.

When: Friday, July 12
Where: Tacoma Dome, 2727 E D Street, Tacoma
Cost: $199+

Seattle International Beerfest

Every good city has to have a Beerfest and every good Beerfest belongs on a bucket list. That’s one of our many, extremely niche mottos, by the way. Seattle International Beerfest comes right in the dead of summer with three days of ice cold beer and plenty of memories to be made and forgotten.

When: Friday, July 12 – Sunday, July 14
Where: Fisher Pavillion, 305 Harrison St
Cost: $25-$50

Seafood Festival in Ballard

Over 75,000 people hit up this three-day festival to indulge in the salmon BBQ, jam out to live tunes, and enjoy plenty of entertainment.

When: Friday, July 12 – Sunday, July 14
Where: 5345 Ballard Ave NW
Cost: Free Admission

Harry Potter & The Prisoner of Azkaban in Concert

Everyone loves Harry Potter (even if they won’t admit it) but the classic flick gets even better with the Seattle Symphony scoring the film live.

When: Friday, July 12 – Sunday, July 14
Where: 200 University St
Cost: $50-$160

Polish Festival

Another festival? Oh, July is just getting started, folks! Swing by to enjoy traditional Polish food, entertainment, and a diverse group of Greater Seattleites.

When: Saturday, July 13 from 12 pm – 8 pm
Where: Seattle Center, 305 Harrison Street
Cost: Free Admission

Atlanta United FC at Seattle Sounders FC

Watch Seattle’s best take on Atlanta’s worst. JK, while Seattle is holding down third place in the West, Atlanta is doing the same out East. Looks like we’ve got a matchup on our hands!

When: Sunday, July 14 at 1 pm
Where: CenturyLink Field, 800 Occidental Ave S
Cost: $24+

New York Liberty at Seattle Storm

Soccer not your sport? No stress, just wait a few hours and check out some pro basketball instead! Catch the Storm as they try to break away from the logjam in the middle of the Western Conference standings.

When: Sunday, July 14 at 4 pm
Where: CenturyLink Field, 800 Occidental Ave S
Cost: $23+

Well, that’s a mighty fine weekend filled with things to do all over Seattle. See you out there!
