Maneki
This gem is certainly Seattle’s oldest sushi bar and also probably Seattle’s oldest continually operating restaurant. It opened in 1904 which is pretty cool that it’s still around today. And that’s because they’ve been serving up mean sushi this whole time. So until we can get back to eating in the tatami rooms, we highly recommend ordering takeout.

Tamari Bar
Well, Tamarai Bar is technically an Izakaya. But they have some killer sushi and sashimi on the menu that is definitely worth ordering along with all their other tasty menu items. And their bento-style to-go lunches are very aesthetically pleasing. So not only does your food taste amazing but it’s beautiful as well.

Honestly, we don’t really know how to pronounce the name of this restaurant. But we do know it’s really really good and in normal times very hard to get into. So that’s why we’re pumped that takeout is a thing. And you honestly can’t go wrong with anything that you order here, it’s all delicious.

And this list wouldn’t be complete without another high end, incredible sushi spot. Shiro’s is another long-standing spot that also happens to be Seattle’s first Edomae style spot. So if you really want some of the highest quality sushi you need to order yourself some Shiro’s ASAP.
