This weekend’s video festival is all about the best funny viral cat vids

Via Catherine Heath

Its Friday! Can you believe it? We don’t know about you, but January felt like it was 10 years long and now February is just zipping on by. But hey, either way, we’re excited to live up another weekend. And this weekend, we’re going to be hitting up the Seattle CatVideoFest.

Yes, you read that right. You don’t have to sit at home and watch endless Youtube compilations, now you can enjoy the comedy of cats in a theater setting. That’s because the organizers of CatVideoFest have spent countless hours scouring the internet and reviewing submissions to bring you the best of the world’s cat videos. What makes it even better is that the festival raises money for cats in need and local cat charities. We’re absolutely here for that.

Because this is a festival, there are some other fun things worth checking out besides the videos. They include giveaways throughout the weekend, free cat swag, chatting with Progressive Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) and All the Best Pet Care reps. You can even create your very own cat toy from scratch.

The fun doesn’t end there! On Saturday, February 22, you can take selfies and get some kitty love from celeb-kitty Klaus the Cat. So be sure to bust out all your leopard print clothing for this rare, fun, and unique cat-centric event.
