The Seattle Black Film Festival is happening this weekend!

It’s been a minute since Seattle has had a film festival. But this weekend the Seattle Black Film Festival will be taking place online. And this is the perfect time to watch movies created by Black artists. Because we’ll bet a few of you have made that a goal recently.

So hold yourself accountable and show up to this amazing digital event. It will be taking place Friday through Sunday and features films, workshops, and talks. And admission is by donation which starts at a suggestion of $10. That being said, we highly recommend donating more because a 3-day film festival normally costs much more than $10.

So switch it up this weekend, pause your Netflix shows and check out this amazing film festival. After all, the Seattle Black Film Festival only takes place once a year. And this is a great way to support Black artists. Not to mention, you might find a new favorite film or director.

If you’d like to learn more, you can click here. And if you are unable to watch this weekend you can always donate to Langston Seattle by clicking here. But we hope that you tune in and enjoy the Seattle Black Film Festival.
