Just a few of the films included this year are Borders and Belonging, a short film program that explores the stages of immigration, the memories of the homeland and the impact of immigration on the emotional lives of humans. And, Empty by Design– a story of two people who kindle a friendship after finding themselves back in the Philippines after years of being away. Finally, Jeronimo, the story of Jeronimo Lim Kim, a man of Korean descent who was born in Cuba and ultimately joined the Cuban Revolution.
