You need to visit this local movie theatre reopening next week

In an era where movie theatres are closing left and right it seems like there’s not a lot of hope for this old pastime. But we’re happy to say that a local movie theatre is reopening in Seattle. And it’s called The Beacon so you should definitely check it out.

The Beacon is located in Columbia City, and was under for under a year before COVID-19 hit. Luckily, they’ve been able to survive, in part because of private screenings for cinema fans. Renting a whole theatre for some nostalgia? Yeah, we’d buy that.

And with theatre reopenings now allowed, public screenings are coming back. Rather than using individual movie names, The Beacon opted for a more mysterious approach. In the coming weeks, you can watch ‘The Beast One-Armed Revenge Double Feature’ or ‘The Best Australian Gothic Horror Movie’. We’re intrigued.

If you’d like to learn more or snag tickets, you can click below. And in case you want a private show for you and your friends, that’s still available too! So be sure to show them some love on their reopening next week. Because our local movie theatres are fewer and fewer.
