A free Winter market’s coming to Seattle with local vendors, food trucks, drinks & more

Shopping for handcrafted, intentional gifts, sipping on mulled Cider, and grabbing a delicious bite (or 3). Winter markets sure bring together the very best of the holiday season. And there is one coming to SODO this Sunday, December 11th, 2022. Enter: Shop & Sip.

So, Seattle Restored and Elsom Cellars partnered up to bring you this cute and intimate Winter market. It will feature over 30 local artisan vendors, food trucks, and some thirst-quenching bevies. The bevies are courtesy of Elsom Cellars and Republic of Cider.

Plus, the market is tented. Meaning, shopping for one-of-a-kind gifts need not be a cold and joyless chore.

Cherry on the cake— it is free to enter!

Incidentally, this isn’t the only free event Seattle Restored is bringing to us. There are many more including art installations and exhibits, co-working days, and yet another market. Yes, there’s one more. The River December Night Market is coming to town on Saturday, December 17th, 2022.

For the uninitiated, Seattle Restored is a program that aims at refilling Seattle’s storefronts that were deserted during the pandemic. How they do it is what makes the program brilliant.

In the spirit of being and supporting local all the way, Seattle Restored matches up empty storefronts with local artists and entrepreneurs. These artists and entrepreneurs then set up pop-up shops and art installations to showcase their products, talents, and works of art.

And we get to explore, appreciate and support local talent. Cool, right?

Here, check out the Seattle Restored website for more details about the program, the Shop & Sip Winter market, and other upcoming events.

Here’s to a holly and jolly holiday season!
