We probably don’t need to tell you this twice but Seattle has had a chilly summer. In fact, it’s been the coolest summer in 8 years. So if something felt a little off with the weather this summer, don’t worry you aren’t crazy.
But with that in mind, Seattle still has a chance to see some heat. Because while we’re now technically in ‘Autumn’ we might still see some days in the 80s or maybe even 90s. But our average temperature this summer was actually 75.2 degrees. Which is honestly pretty warm.

That being said, we’ve had some really hot summers these past years. So 75.2 makes this summer chilly compared to say 2015 which had an average temperature of 80.2. But we have to say, we didn’t mind having a cooler summer. After all, who likes feeling like a swamp monster?
But we’ll still keep our fingers crossed for a day or two more of sun. Because now we’re headed into shorter and colder days.
