Thinking about the job market can be anxiety-inducing for anyone, but especially new graduates. Luckily, Seattle is one of the best places to be in the entire country if you just graduated according to a new report. Here’s who made Coworking Cafe‘s newest ranking and where our city sits.
The underlying analysis scored US cities based on factors like the share of local population with a bachelor’s degree, job opportunities that are suitable for recent grads, income levels, costs of living, and lifestyle amenities, among others.

Seattle came in third place overall which is great.
Our city ranked highest in population with BA (65%), median graduate income ($86,071) and employer based health insurance coverage (75.2%). Even though we came in third, we actually tied with San Francisco for first place in the employment category.
The one area we didn’t do so hot in? Cost of living, our great but expensive city still sits at almost 15% above the national average cost of living.
We’ll keep our fingers crossed for second place next year.
